I have travelled from Gorakhpur to Nepal over 100 times. Pokhara is where my heart lives — a breathtaking city of lakes, rivers, and waterfalls, nestled beneath the Annapurna range. I have stayed in Pokhara for months, explored every hidden corner, every quiet café by the lake, every viewpoint that most tourists never find. Nearly 90% of Nepal’s greatest treks begin here — Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Mardi Himal, Tilicho Lake and Langtang — and I have done them all personally. I have walked through the remote and breathtaking villages of Ghandruk, Chhomrong, and Australian Base Camp, trekked the
mystical Upper Mustang, passed through Kathmandu on my way to the beautiful Langtang Valley, paraglided over Phewa Lake, and felt the rush of bungee jumping in Nepal.

I started Nepal Wanderers because I kept seeing solo travellers and foreign visitors struggling with this journey — unsure, unsafe, and overpaying. I want to change that.
